Diane Wade

Diane Wade Workdays 10:00AM – 3:00PM
Diane has been entertaining Syracuse audiences for several years. She started her radio career at the Cornell University station and has remained in the Central NY market ever since. “I’ve loved listening to Syracuse radio since I was a kid! I have great memories of Phil Markert and Rick and Ron. When she’s not on the air you can find her at a health food store or the Y. Always a big sports fan, she plays volleyball, softball, basketball and loves taking her kayak out on Owasco Lake. “And like everyone else in Central New York, I love all of the SU teams!”

Some things we need to know about you are: I’m a bit of a nerd. I love digging into anthropology (sorry for the pun) and I enjoy anything NASA and astronomy related.
Last book you read: A Numerate Life by John Allen Paulos.
Favorite concert you’ve seen: Van Halen at the Dome, not sure the year but I vividly remember David Lee Roth’s cheekless pants. I’m sooo thankful that I remembered my binoculars for that..
Favorite superhero: Well..for that concert it would have been Superman, for his x-ray vision, otherwise I would have to say ‘The Flash”.
Favorite TV show: I love The Big Bang Theory but Seinfeld has always been my favorite.
What’s in your refrigerator right now? Milk, meat, lettuce, pickles, lots of stuff to drink…normal stuff, just organic.
What do you love? Comedy! My favorite comedians right now are Katt Williams, Kevin Hart, Fluffy, Amy Schumer…loved Steve Martin (still do).
If somebody gave you an elephant, what would you do with it? I’d ride it out in search of the rest of the circus. I love a good circus!
What were you like as a child? Too literate and painfully shy.
Favorite things about CNY: Summer…my friends and my family.
