It’s hard to believe in just a few short days we will be entering into a new year. My mother always told me to not wish my life away because as we get older time goes faster and faster, boy was she right! Each year, during the week between Christmas and New Years, I look back at the past year.  I am often amazed at the events in my own life and the world events that took place, a lot changes in 365 days! Last year, I rang in the New Year at the wonderful First Night celebration at Onondaga Lake Parkway. It was beautiful night weather wise and even more beautiful was the sight of so many families spending time together. Everyone was smiling and enjoying the live music, heated tents with clowns, a family karaoke party and many other family friendly activities. It warmed your heart to see families together to ring in a New Year! This year I will be at First Night with some of my family members, we are looking forward to the Orange Ball drop over the lake and the fireworks that follow. So, I invite and encourage everyone, of all ages, to attend this great event!  There is no better way to ring in a new year than surrounding yourself with the ones you love! Happy New Year to all of you may this year be full of good health, lots of smiles and an overload of love! Hugs to all of you!
